I have known Dr Michael Craig and been a patient for two periods over a number of years. I have no hesitation in recommending him. I believe him to be very professional, an excellent diagnostician, extremely competent and caring. He uses the most up-to-date communication and record-keeping methods which ensures that he is always on top of my case, wherever I am in the world. Rarely, for most in his profession, Dr Craig can be contacted at any time of the day or night and has always responded positively and sympathetically to any request to see him. Most importantly he has solved my issues in record time, for which I am of course extremely grateful.

Dr Michael Craig was my last viable option after being let down by the system, during my treatment I have found Dr Craig to be a constant professional and I came to him for help and to get better. I have trust issues and struggle to open up but Dr Craig put me at ease and explained every detail of my treatment process. During our sessions he is fully aware of my mental state and takes great care in how the therapy is applied. Dr Craig in my view is highly competent and switched on, I wish i had Dr Craig on board from the start instead of this late in the game.

My son has Asperger's Syndrome and our GP & I both felt that it was important to find a psychiatrist who was familiar with the challenges it presents to help my son overcome his current illness. By the time Michael Craig was recommended, I was at my wits end having spent a week on the telephone looking for a psychiatrist who could offer an appointment sooner than the often-quoted 5 weeks wait-time (it was during the summer break). Looking back I think finding Michael was worth the hassle. My son finds it difficult to open up to strangers but on the first appointment he felt comfortable enough to give Michael all the information he needed to understand his state of mind. Michael has continued to be a part of my son's therapy & my son's initial comfort level with Michael has only increased. We have both found Michael approachable, positive and practical without being pushy. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Hi I’m writing this as a mother of a patient of doctor michael craig . Michael craig have been following my son, since 2011, and is still seeing my soon monthly . I can not express the gratitude to this man , not only as a doctor , but as a human being.. we have been through a lot over the last years, and me as a mother of the patient , never felt neglected or over looked by michael craig, he always manèged to give us as a family a huge support in difficult periods . He has made a huge difference in my sons recovery as not only is he very experience in his field and I trust him 100% , but my son loves him . In difficult times where he trusted no one , craig was always allowed to come to the hospital , and times when my son wouldn’t see anyone else , he always wanted to see michael craig . I simply can not recommend michael craig enough as he is the best I could have for my son’s recovery . No words can explain that , from a mothers point of view . He is simply the best .

My experience with Dr. Craig is a secure environment to talk and address my mental health diagnosis. I am weighed and professionally examined to keep track of my progress. He takes great care to cover anything that might be hindering me to correct my state of mind. I feel that the level of support is satisfactory and he gives me confidence. From a physical point of view, I understand why I was diagnosed and the benefits of my medication. I feel valid support for my thinking faculties and an emphasis on recovery. Honestly, he takes good care to focus on my recovery from many points of view rather than just solve and move on. Inpatient care was great seeing as he came to visit often, drug support was basic and relevant, communication with my parents was also extremely professional. I feel much more mature, independent and self-assured. Technical problems in my recovery are consistently met with his traditional care and caution. In my opinion, the breadth of my recovery and the resulting confidence and prospect decided after medication are the reasons to recommend, longevity included. Remarkably strong-willed, this psychiatrist is sure to complete a mature assessment, provide dependable and friendly support in addition to treat for mental health and wellbeing.
